The First World War was still raging when printer Petrus Roosens started up his one-man business in the shadow of the church towers in Ruisbroek.
Son-in-law Ernest Boone joins the business. Together with his wife (the founder’s daughter), he oversees the printing establishment’s growth into an SME with some 20-employees.
The business moves to Stationsstraat and starts working with offset.
Brothers Walter and Kris Boone join the company, as the third generation.

The first Mac leads to a genuine revolution in prepress. Boone-Roosens purchases its first four-colour press.
he company’s continued growth led to the decision to move into a new building in the Lot industrial estate, on the edge of Ruisbroek.

First A1 printing press (print format 72 x 102) goes into production.
